Mackenzie turns 4!

Mackenzie turned 4 September 1st and we're finally starting to feel like she's growing out of her puppy phase. She's still a hellion, but a slightly better behaved one. We didn't have much time for celebrating between traveling and visitors' arrival, but we did manage a yummy Pawshake Cake from the Three Dog Bakery cookbook.

What a freaking beach...

While Alex was visiting, we all got to escape to Portugal for three lovely, sunny days. They were filled with yummy food and some of the prettiest beaches I've seen. We didn't really do a whole lot other than enjoy the sunshine. It was the perfect slow-paced break from my exhausted first trimester!

The Hill, Part 2

Alex made a return visit to Dublin. And it's a good thing because he didn't get to see much of it the first time due to a little too much fun in Prague. This time around he even got to see County Wicklow, our favorite place to take visitors. Enjoy the pictures. My personal favorite is Alex's senior portrait!
